TEST stars Paul Adams and Peter Sleep will be on show at the Racecourse on Sunday as Radcliffe Cricket Club take on Rishton in the Inter League Knockout Trophy.
South African Adams is the Lancashire League side's professional this season and he will be playing alongside former Australian Test player Peter Sleep, who is also a former Rishton professional.
Sleep, who has settled in the area after initially coming over from Australia to play for the club, has also had a spell as a coach at Lancashire County Cricket Club.
Rishton have not been been doing as well as they would have liked in the league so far this season, so no doubt will be looking to do well in the cup competition and keep the flag flying for the Lancashire League.
Radcliffe will also be keen to lift some silverware after coming so close last season when they were pipped at the post by Middleton in the final of the Central Lancashire League's Wood Cup.
They will be boosted by the return of Australian batsman Bruce Cruse from holiday and the inclusion of Mike Ramsbottom, who is only available occasionally due to work commitments.
The match is sponsored by BMW dealers Boundary Garage of Dunnockshaw.
