MANCHESTER Dogs' Home has made a special appeal for a dog named "Boo" recently found wandering the streets.
He is a male Bouvier Des Flandres and you don't see many of them around as the Bouvier is quite a rare breed of dog commanding a high price tag.
Anyone wanting to buy one would have to pay upwards of £500 to a breeder.
"Boo" was found by the Manchester Dog Wardens wandering in the Burnage area of Manchester and was brought to the home on the 6th June 2002.
He is a very handsome dog. His ancestors were bred for pulling carts and guarding cattle, but he is a large dog with a capital 'L'.
"Boo's" owners must have cared for him as he is in good condition, he is very friendly and obedient.
He will sit and stay at your side so he has received some basic training. It is a mystery why his owners have not come forward to claim him.
If you can rehome "Boo" (Dog No. 460) or any of the dogs in the home at present, please pay us a call.
Our kennels are full of dogs of every description and size.
Alternatively, if you know of anyone who has lost a Bouvier Des Flandres, please contact the Manchester Dogs' Home on 0161 205 2874.
