CELEBRATIONS after England's historic win over Argentina on Friday (June 7) passed off relatively peacefully in Bury.

Bury police made no arrests for football-related violence on Friday, although investigations are continuing into the pub incident.
Calls to the emergency services throughout Greater Manchester fell by around 40 per cent during the England v Argentina match. During the 90 minute game, police, fire and ambulance control centres dealt with 260 calls, 163 less than the same period on the previous day.
