ALTHOUGH Preston Broncos went into the lead at Manchester it was a tight game. Good pitching from both sides kept the score down until the last innings when Preston scored six runs. Final score: Manchester Saints 4, Preston 10.

Preston Ponys took the lead in another tight match. James Leckey hit his first home run of the season in the first innings. Not to be outdone Thomas Warwick hit his fourth of the season in the sixth innings. Both these boys will be part of the Great Britain squad in the forthcoming European Championships in Holland next month. Final score: Manchester Saints 9, Preston 11.

After seven games each both Preston teams remain unbeaten and top of their league.
