IT was a miserable weekend for the three local teams in the Bay Northern Premier League.
Preston and Leyland Motors were both soundly defeated while Leyland and Farington did not even face a ball at Blackpool as the match was abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch, although at least they got four points from the washout.
Preston could only manage to score 114 in reply to Fleetwood's 200 for 8 with Dudi top scoring for the home side with 54.
Two bowlers shared nine wickets for Fleetwood with Fish taking taking 5 for 26 and Simm taking four for 17.
Chasing a total of just 97 at Netherfield, Leyland Motors could only muster a disappointing 61.
Top bowlers for Motors were Prince with 4 for 20 and Liley with 4 for 38.
On Saturday it is the derby match with Leyland playing host to Motors while Preston visit St Annes.
