ENFIELD'S young star Keith Barker has been honoured as he has been selected as one of the baton carriers in the Jubilee relay being staged across the country as part of the build up to the Commonwealth Games in Manchester next month, writes PETE BARROW.
Barker, pictured, son of former West Indies star Keith Barker senior, was picked to represent Lancashire County Cricket Club, where he is an academy player, and will hand the baton on to cricketing legend Clive Lloyd after running his leg from Sale to old Trafford.
It is proving a busy summer for the Accrington-based 15-year-old as he has already attended an England under-15s cricket squad training camp at Bisham Abbey.
