A GUN-TOTING robber walked away with a cash haul in a plastic bag after holding up a Blackpool bookies.
The man, thought to be in his 30s, robbed William Hill bookmakers on Monday (June 10) on Central Drive shortly after 7pm.
A spokesman for Blackpool Police said: "Several other customers were inside the bookmakers at the time. The man went to the counter with a gun which was contained in the white carrier bag.
"He demanded cash and left a short time later with the bag containing the gun and a small amount of money."
He said no-one was hurt in the raid but the staff were left shocked by the robbery. The offender was described as a white man in his early 30s, around 5ft 9ins tall and medium to well built. He had short, spiky blond hair and a round face with ruddy complexion. He was wearing a grey jumper with black flecking, black trousers and black shoes.
