CAN I please thank everybody who supported my stall during Hedgehog Awareness Week.
The kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness never ceases to amaze me and, as a volunteer, the money raised is enough to look after the gardener's friend, the hedgehog, for a full year.
A special thanks to Linda Newton, Peter and Kevin at The Teanlowe Centre, Philip Robinson, Christina, Ann etc at Burnside Nurseries and Julie, Sharon etc at Pets at Home, without whom Hedgehog Awareness Week would not be able to take place.
I venture out of my sheds just once a year for Hedgehog Awareness Week, which is the first week of May, to raise funds to help the hedgehogs get the care and attention they deserve.
I work voluntarily for the RSPCA, PDSA, all local vets and all pet shops. To date this year I have looked after 1,805 hedgehogs, just from the Fylde area alone.
If you should see a hedgehog out during the day, whatever the size, or if you require any help or advice whatsoever, please call me on (01253) 850078. For emergency calls, if you have a sick, injured or orphaned hedgehog, please call me immediately on (077391) 6236.

Voluntary Fylde Hedgehog Carer,
