COMMUNITIES and churchgoers enjoyed a colourful treat as Rose Queens across East Lancashire were crowned at the weekend.
At St Francis' Church in Cherry Tree, Langho, Taryn Duckworth was crowned Rose Queen in the annual festivities.
Fourteen-year-old Taryn, who is 13, was the star attraction at the event, which also included a school fair at St Francis School.
At St James' Church in Blackburn, Elise Leaver-Heaton, 14, was crowned the new Rose Queen and at St Leonard's Church in Langho, Emma Grundy was crowned.
