BACON buyers from Blackburn and Barnoldswick have won the chance to become millionaires after winning a national competition.
Peter Snape from Highercroft, and Anne Marie Slevin of Barnoldswick bought packets of Royal Crest Dutch Bacon and peeled back the 'Smash the £1 million Piggy Bank' label to reveal a winning ticket.
Ms Slevin and Mr Snape have won a guaranteed £1,000, a weekend in Amsterdam and the chance to play for the £1m jackpot.
Along with 18 other winners the pair will be taken to a secret location this Friday to play for the £1 million which will be hidden amongst 2000 ceramic piggy banks.
