DRASTIC plans which could close four council old folks' homes will be discussed by councillors tonight and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday June 18 and 19).
The health, housing and social services scrutiny and review panel starts at 7pm today in the council chamber at Bury Town Hall. A final decision will be made by the executive, which meets at 7pm in the Peel Room tomorrow.
Homes under threat are Warthfield and Beech Grove in Bury, Claremont in Prestwich and Whittaker House in Radcliffe.
