GREEN-fingered members of a charity were delighted after receiving a £10,000 cash boost.
The Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales has given the money to Burnley-based Fresh Fields Enterprises towards the salary of a Greenteam co-ordinator.
Fresh Fields enables unemployed people with learning difficulties and other needs to have work experience and training.
Courses on offer include horticulture, literacy and numeracy and IT. The charity also helps those applying for jobs by giving help with interviews and writing CVs.
The charity's Greenteam project enables volunteers to take part in gardening work.
John Bromley, Fresh Fields manager, said: "We are delighted with this funding from the Lloyds TSB Foundation."
Ken Powers, branch manager of Lloyds TSB in Burnley, added: "We are committed to working with charities which aim to improve learning opportunites for people with learning difficulties."
