BAR from a few the bigger the star the bigger the flop seems to have been the pattern this year in India so far.
So it is with a breath of fresh we welcome in the minnows. In this tale of 'it should have been me' we have Sanjay (Uday Chopra) who lives a pretty carefree life. You know the sort, a little bit here, a little bit there - just your normal twenty something guy without a care in the world.
Oh and he lives with this stunning model Ria (Bipashu Basu)...did I forget to tell you that. And they both got off once and are nowjust friends. It happens.
Such is life until one Sanjay recieves a phone call from his childhood friend Anjali (Sanjana), who tells him she is about to get married.
Within minutes of the phone call, distant memories are re-ignited and Sanjay realises he has to do something otherwise he will lose his one true love. So it's time to spoil the party and off he goes to break up the party.
When he arrives to Anjali's home town it dawns on him he must take some drastic action and fast, especially after seeing the groom to be Rohit (Jimmy Sargill). Like our dearest Julia Roberts in 'My Best Friends Weding' Sanjay then goes about trying his utmost to mess all the plans up and for anyone out there in a similar situation I have to admit he's got some great ideas.
But alas he's busted leaving poor Anjali with a gut wrenching decision to make.
Good fun all round and it's got some pretty catchy numbers in it too.
Mr Yash Chopra certainly came up trumps and may have re-launched his son's career with this one.
