OVER £2,000 was raised by a charity fashion show.
The money will go towards Muslim Global Relief's Emergency campaign for homeless children in Palestine.
The event was organised by Kesar Shazad and Mohammed Riaz.
Speaking to Asain Image, Kesar said, "It was done at short notice and I would like to thank everyone for helping towards a needy cause.
"Mr Yusuf Jan Virmani was helpful by giving us the conference hall for free and as were so many others who gave up their and effort."
The evening featured clothes by Fatima Fabrics, Anisha's Fashions, Poshaak, Uzma Boutique and House of Halima. The majority female audience enjoyed entertainment by: dance routines by Imran and Jav and a dance by Haseena from Pakistan, a well-known dancer and Pakistani film and TV actress.
Music on the night featured Nas-T and JKD, a young local musical group who remix Bollywood tunes and well known band Legacy.
Organisers would like to thank: all of the models, the fashion houses, Shakil Salam, Naushad Surve, Talat Awan, Sarwat Jaeel, Farooq Shah, Nadeem, Iqbal Bhai, Pervez Aktar of Training 2000 and Rahman's Takeway for providing the food.
