BACUP BOROUGH have swooped to sign Stand goalkeeper Tommy Allen.
Allen, 30, has been signed on a two-year contract at the North West Counties Second Division club.
Bacup manager Brent Peters said it was coup for the club. "Some of the saves he made last year against us he had no right to make.
"He wanted to sign a contract for some security. He thinks we can win something this year and then go on to play in Division One next year."
Peters said he was also hopeful of re-signing Paul Fildes when the two meet tonight.
