I AM writing about the the recent election of three BNP councillors in Burnley.
I am not Asian but I feel I speak for many non-Asians when I say it was nothing short of disgraceful. These people have conned the electorate into thinking they will make things better better for them. That is not going to happen and it would have been better for people not to vote at all rather than vote for them.
Your front page headline said it all. We are indeed ONE COMMUNITY and will remain one community despite parties like the BNP trying to divide and rule.
Although I do not have many Asian friends never did I once think they are the problem or responsible for society's ills. This is just another case of 'subliminal racism'.
It is also up to us to make sure the spread of this 'poisonous message' stops here and I am sure the majority of us both Asian and White people will make ensure it does.
