FLOOD damage has forced the Blackburn branch of Booker Cash and Carry to close temporarily.
The store in Amberley Street was swamped after the flash floods on Friday and both the building and stock were affected.
Marketing director Mark Collier said: "Having established that no injuries resulted from the flood, our immediate priority is to ensure that local customers continue to get the best service possible.
"Information has been provided on the nearest alternative Booker branches where key members of the Blackburn staff have been relocated to assist the transfer of the business."
The Burnley, Farnworth and Preston stores are now trying to cope with the extra workload, and customers are advised to contact the alternative branches if they have any inquiries.
