POLICE are appealing for information after a young woman was injured in the car park of Blackburn's Utopia nightclub.
The 22-year-old woman had left the nightclub and was making her way towards a ramp at about 3am on Sunday when she sustained a serious hip injury and had to go to hospital.
She was wearing a blue jacket with pink trousers and top.
Police are looking for a white male aged between 18 and 20 years old, 5ft 11ins to 6ft tall, slim build and pale complexion.
He had short brown hair and was wearing a white top under a dark waist length jacket.
He appeared to be with about five other male friends of a similar age and was seen near the injured young woman, possibly trying to help her up from the from the ground.
Police said they do not know how the woman came by her injuries but urged the man to come forward so he can be eliminated from their enquiries.
