LEYLAND Motors came out on top in the derby match against Leyland at Fox Lane on Saturday.
After scoring what looked like an easily attainable 110 they dismissed the home side for just 80 largely thanks to a fine spell of bowling by Lilley who took five wickets for just 34 runs.
Preston, meanwhile, remain anchored at the bottom of the league after their match at West Cliff against St Annes was called off after just four overs.
Preston visit local rivals Chorley on Saturday while both Leyland and Leyland Motors are at home to Lancaster and Fleetwood respectively.
