THE PLAYHOUSE Theatre, Market Street West in Preston is holding its annual theatre festival.
The One Act festival showcases local theatre groups, performing everything from comedies to musicals.
This year the festival features plays by groups including Fulwood High School, Preston Drama Club, Goosnargh Theatre Group and the Hoghton Junior Players.

PRESTON based Irish music group Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann are holding a charity dance in aid of Galloway House.

THE LOS Angeles Pierce Symphonic Winds and the Lancashire Symphonic Winds orchestras are teaming up to perform at St Michael's Church, Tulketh Road, Ashton.
