THE YOUTH of Hyndburn are being given the opportunity to learn and develop new skills while making extra friends and having fun.
Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre will host a series of youth theatre summer school sessions next month for young people and their parents.
These begin on Monday July 22 and are aimed at people with existing drama skills and those new to the stage who want to beat the summer boredom.
Sally Smith, of Burnley Youth Theatre, said: "Young people will have the chance to develop skills in character, movement, performance and to share their achievements will family and friends at the end of the week."
The first week will be for youngsters aged eight to twelve and costs £22 for the whole week with the final performance on Friday July 26 at 3pm.
The following week is aimed at older children between 10 and 16 and runs from Monday July 29 until Friday August 2 when the performance will be at 3pm.
All sessions during the week run from 10am until 4pm. For further details or to book a place call 01282 427767.
