THE Clarets are asking football fans to pull out all the stops in the continuing fight for fairness with media giants Carlton and Granada.

The Football League and its clubs are owed £180 million and that means Burnley Football Club is owed £3 million ahead of next season.

In order to increase the pressure on the TV companies the club wants fans to:

1. Attend Burnley MP Peter Pike's surgery on Saturday June 22 between 11.00am and 12.00pm at The Thompson Centre. Call the Constituency Office on 01282 450 840 to arrange an appointment.

2. Write to Peter Pike MP at the House Of Commons with your views on the situation.

3. Sign the Burnley Football Club petition at Turf Moor or Turf Moor In Town (St. James Street). We need the whole town to sign this petition.

4. On July 10, Burnley supporters have been asked to protest at Carlton and Granada's headquarters.

Every Football League club is being asked to attend over 12 days, with six clubs a day present. London Clarets with over 400 members, will be asked to represent Burnley Football Club, but all are welcome. It will involve meeting at the Tara Hotel in Kensington at noon. The Football League will offer transport and if you wish to attend, please contact Burnley FC by e-mail (web@burnleyfootballclub.net) or write to them by June 21

5. Write to Michael Green, Chairman of Carlton Communications PLC at 25 Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7RZ and to Charles Allen, Chairman of Granada PLC at London Television Centre, Upper Ground, London SE1 9LT.

The Clarets will be doing their bit by writing to famous supporters to ask for their support, writing to Burnley MP Peter Pike, visiting Alastair Campbell at 10 Downing Street and joining the Football League chairmans' protest at Carlton and Granada on July 10.
