AN 83-year-old woman had a plastic carrier bag, containing a purse, snatched from her as she waited at a bus stop in Bury Road, Rawtenstall at 3.50pm on Tuesday.
Police have linked the incident with one on June 2 at 11.30am in Greenfield Gardens, Haslingden, when a 79-year-old woman suffered a broken arm after her shoulder bag was grabbed.
In the latest incident the thief was a white teenager, 5ft 8ins, thick set.
In the first robbery the man was white, aged 20, of heavy build.
