WOODHEY High School pupil Curtis Simpson has just been awarded his second dan black belt -- at the age of just 14!
Curtis, who has been a member at the Rising Sun Karate Club since he was four, was one of the youngest people in the country to achieve such a high standard when he first won a black belt at the age of nine.
Curtis, who lives in the Walmersley area of Bury, is pictured here with his younger brother, Kieron, aged six, a pupil at Old Hall Primary School, who also attends the Rising Sun club and is attempting to attain his second stripe brown belt at the moment.
