DARWEN take on Blackpool tomorrow in a match that is a must win if they wish to keep up their challenge for the Northern Premier League crown.
The current league leaders Morecambe take on current champions Netherfield on Saturday so Darwen's game gives them an excellent opportunity to consolidate their position near the top of the table.
One man looking forward to the game is Darwen's all time leading runscorer Graeme Ainslie.
He said: "We always enjoy the trip to the seaside to play at Stanley Park. During the summer months there is usually a carnival atmosphere at the ground with many of the tourists coming to the ground to watch some cricket," said the veteran batsman and off spinner.
Blackpool's captain is the Blackburn-based former East Lancs and Blackburn Northern man Mark Lomas.
Darwen should once again unchanged for Sunday's game when the team will again travel to Blackpool to take part in the League Cup fixture.
