A DISABLED woman who moved to Darwen after being targeted by burglars is enduring the same nightmare in East Lancashire.

Juliet Bravo-Horton, 39, fled Bognor Regis three years ago to escape crime, but has now been burgled for the second time at her Ivinson Road home.

She is determined not to be forced out again and has made a desperate plea to burglars.

"I don't know why people keep targeting me but I wish they'd leave me alone," she said.

"I cannot understand. I have done nothing to upset anyone. Why should I move again when I've already moved 300 miles?"

Juliet, who changed her name to that of her favourite TV series when she moved to Darwen to start her new life, said she cannot cope with the stress due to ongoing health problems.

Eight years ago her right leg was amputated due to an infection.

She said her doctor had recently told her an infection was forming in her other leg which may have to be amputated if it worsens.

The burglars stole her morphine, which numbs her pain, her Samsung mobile phone, described by Juliet as her "lifeline", a computer and £140 in cash.

In March she married Alan Horton. The couple's wedding and honeymoon video was taken along with a camcorder.

Juliet said she was burgled three times in Bognor Regis in a short space of time, so she applied to transfer to a council-adapted house in Darwen.

Ten months ago her Ivinson Road home was burgled for the first time and now she is concerned her "nightmare" is recurring.

"It's not nice when someone has been in your house," she said. "I don't know what to do now. They took my morphine - how low can you get? I just feel that now it's all starting again."
