DONKEYS lined up for their annual MOT last week and for the fist time underwent the latest identification technique of micro-chipping.
Around 200 donkeys in all were inspected on Friday at Blackpool Borough Council stables on Rigby Road.
Council officers were on site to supervise proceedings, working alongside both the RSPCA and Donkey Sanctuary. The micro-chipping enables the donkeys to be tracked and monitored efficiently.
