ROVERS' Turkish stars Tugay and Hakan Unsal will face Brazil in the World Cup semi-final after their team's golden-goal win over Senegal.
Midfielder Tugay played throughout the quarter-final game against the surprise package of the championships.
But it was substitute Ilhan Mansiz who sent the Turks into the clash with Brazil with a sweetly struck shot four minutes into extra time.
They will now face Brazil in Saitama on Wednesday (KO 12.30pmBST).
The Turks made the best chances and the Senegalise looked exhausted by the end of normal time, their World Cup adventure had caught them up.
Turkey's victory was based around a strong defensive display that the tricky Senegalise were unable to breech.
One-time Ewood target Hakan Sukur missed three chances that looked easier to score and who was eventually replaced by Mansiz.
And it was the substitute who finished off a cross from right winger Umit Davala with an unstopable half-volley past Senegal keeper Tony Sylva.
Now Turkey will hope to avenge their first round defeat against Brazil, which the South Americans won controversially 2-1 with a disputed penalty.
And a piece of gamesmanship from Rivaldo at the corner flag that saw Rovers other representative Hakan Unsal sent off.
