IN response to your article headlined 'Frightening' (LET, June 20), my daughter attends the pre-school nursery in question and I would like to reassure other parents of the fact that I have nothing but praise for this one at Salesbury.
My daughter goes there every morning and is cared for in a secure, fun and loving environment.
I appreciate that parent Mrs Jean Grimshaw was sickened and horrified by the incident, but I can honestly say that the security is excellent.
The toddlers are locked in from 9.30am and to collect them you must ring the doorbell in order to gain access.
But you must adhere to the pre-school's guidelines -- that is, not to beckon your child to come to you at the end of the session, wait until their name is called (when the nursery leaders have seen the child's carer).
This is a wonderful pre-school and my daughter enjoys going. Please do not condemn them until a full investigation has been carried out.
We have a lack of nursery providers as it is without attempting to discriminate against Salesbury pre-school.
