BRAZIL'S 1-0 win over Turkey yesterday kept up their record of never having lost a World Cup semi-final in the post-war era.
The victory was their sixth success at the last-four stage, with their only defeat coming against Italy in 1938.
Their previous victims have been France (1958), Chile (1962), Uruguay (1970), Sweden (1994) and Holland (1998).
Germany will be pleased to know that their recent finals record is less successful having lost the last one to France.
