A TEENAGER is recovering in hospital after being stabbed eight times by in a late-night attack.
The 19-year-old suffered wounds to his back and arms during the incident which happened on The Rock, Bury, between 10pm and 10.35pm on Wednesday (June 26).
Detectives said the attack took place after the teenager had been involved in an argument with the attacker.
Police later arrested an 18-year-old youth in connection with the stabbing. But they are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The condition of the victim, who is detained at Fairfield Hospital, is described as "stable."
