VOLUNTEERS are being sought for a unique photographic project that aims to capture the people of East Lancashire on film.
The project is the brainchild of photographer Reg Whittam who will use state of the art techniques to complete his works.
Up to 50 people are needed to select a shortlist of 30 subjects, with no cost to the volunteers.
The final 30 will be photographed and the shots exhibited at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel for a free three-day display open to the public.
It is expected the exhibition will then tour East Lancashire starting at Haworth Art Gallery.
"This is something I have always wanted to do, and holding a free exhibition with the people of East Lancashire seemed the ideal way to demonstrate not just the diversity of people that live and work in East Lancashire but also the diversity of modern photographic techniques," said Reg.
"I think people will be pleasantly surprised by what they will see."
The experiment is open to anyone who lives or works in East Lancashire. Anyone wanting to take part should call Reg on 01254 231802.
