GARDENS enthusiasts are invited to an open gardens event in Bolton-by-Bowland and Grindleton on Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7.
The event will feature 25 gardens of all shapes and sizes, and take in some magnificent views of the Ribble Valley.
It is being coordinated by St Peter and St Paul's Church, Bolton-by-Bowland, and St Ambrose Church, Grindleton, to raise cash for the two churches. Both churches will be florally decorated, St Peter and St Paul with the theme Golden Jubilee, and St Ambrose with the theme Journey of Life.
The walk starts from either church between 11am and 5pm on both days and entry includes an illustrated programme. The event ends with a floral songs of praise led by Radcliffe Male Voice Choir at St Peter and St Paul's at 6.30 on the Sunday.
