SHE'S too modest to admit it, but a night out in one of East Lancashire's clubs wouldn't be the same without a track with her vocals blasting out across the dancefloor.
Since the start of the year, her distinct voice has appeared on two of the most played tracks in local clubland -- Flip 'n' Fill's True Love Never Dies and the remix of N-Trance's Set You Free. But Kelly Llorenna just laughs at the suggestion that her voice defines the local club scene.
"They have both been really big songs and they do get played everywhere but I just think I am really lucky to be doing what I am doing," Kelly says.
Kelly has worked with Blackburn-based All Around The World Records since the mid-1990s.
But it is really only in the last 12 months that she has enjoyed a massive rise in popularity on the back of True Love Never Dies and Set You Free, both of which have not only dominated clubland but crashed into the charts as well.
For Kelly, the re-release of Set You Free gave her a second chance to enjoy the success of a track which simply refuses to die.
When it was first released in 1995, Kelly was just 18 years old.
She said: "I knew when I was recording it that it could be really big, and I thought the same with the re-release this year."
After the first release of Set You Free, Kelly went on to appear with N-Trance over the next few years on many of their hits -- including Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?, Paradise City and Shake Ya Body.
This year, Flip 'n' Fill also exploded on to the scene, with True Love Never Dies.
Kelly said: "All of sudden, everyone was going mad for this song which we had done ages before. It had been played all the time in clubs around here and all of sudden DJs in London were describing it as 'new.'
"There is a real North/South divide when it comes to music and our dance is seen as very Northern.
"It hasn't just been a good year for me, but for All Around The World as well. Everything they do is becoming a hit now and I'm pleased to be part of it."
Now, however, comes the crunch.
Despite previous solo releases on other labels, Bury-born Kelly is hoping that success is just around the corner with her first self-named release on AATW.
Her debut single is the old Taylor Dayne classic Tell It To My Heart, with mixes from the likes of Ian Van Dahl and her chums Flip 'n' Fill.
It is already ripping up dancefloors across the region and has become a frequently requested track on the all-important digital music TV stations.
Kelly said: "I've done other solo stuff before but I am really hoping for something to happen with this one.
"Like the other songs I have done vocals on, it is really popular in the clubs, being played on the radio and on television."
In the meantime, she has a full schedule.
She said: "I did Feel The Noise in Blackburn at the weekend which was a real buzz.
"The response I got was great."
