MAY I through your newspaper try to contact past members of Lytham Amateur Operatic Society? In the year 2004 we are celebrating our centenary and will be holding many events, including a wonderful Centenary Ball to mark this occasion.
We would love anyone who has been a member of our society to join us for these celebrations and renew old friendships and I would ask them to contact me on 01253 734789 so that I can give them more details.
I am also appealing for anyone with old press cuttings, programmes or general information about the society, especially in its early days, to contact me as I am trying to compile a booklet on the history of the society to mark the centenary.
