PATRIOTIC pupils at Gorsefield Primary School in Radcliffe have received a letter of thanks from Buckingham Palace.
And proudly displaying the missive from Her Majesty are Tyrone Crowther (7) and Danielle Jones (8).
Year 3 youngsters at the school in Robertson Street wrote a letter to the Queen, congratulating her on her Golden Jubilee and for doing a "splendid job".
They also sent her a book of designs for crowns they made during their art lessons.
Headteacher Mr Chris Blomerley said: "The children got a lovely letter back from Buckingham Palace saying that the Queen was grateful for their kind thoughts and appreciated their loyalty.
"I read it out in assembly and we are thinking of having it framed."
