I HAVE stood on the market for 35 years and when Mr L Lawes (Letters, June 25) says the goods on sale at the French market may be cheaper than on our own local market, they should be, because they won't be having to pay £25-plus a day rent.
Why don't the the council treat the local traders who stand there week after week paying full rent?
