A SERIES of workshops aims to turn bored youngsters into actors and actresses this summer.
Hyndburn Youth Theatre aims to teach young people new skills, put current drama skills into practice and provide a fun way to make new friends.
This year's activities include two summer schools, one for eight to 12-year-olds and another for 10 to 16s.
The groups, organised by the Burnley Youth Theatre, have also enlisted the help of two professional musicians from Manchester Camerata Orchestra to contribute to the junior summer school.
Youngsters will have the chance to develop skills in character, movement and performance and share their achievements with friends and family at the end of the week.
Junior summer school runs from Monday, July 22, for five days.
A separate five-day class will be held for the seniors from Monday, July 29. Both classes run from 10am to 4pm and cost £22.
No experience is necessary. For an application form call Burnley Youth Theatre on 01282 427767.
