IT'S all change behind the bars of three Cliviger pubs.
The Gordon Lennox, the Fighting Cocks and the Kettledrum will soon all have new licensees in charge.
Tom Boyle, landlord of the Gordon Lennox, on Burnley Road, is due to leave the Jennings owned pub to move to a cottage he is currently renovating in the village. He will be replaced by Ian Jagger.
The Fighting Cocks lost its temporary manager Neil Pitts to the Kettledrum after he replaced Keith and Chantelle Browne. They have left to start a new life in Cyprus.
The Clarinbridge-owned Fighting Cocks is now under the control of another caretaker manager until a permanent landlord can be found.
Even though he is leaving the Gordon Lennox Tom said that he wasn't ready to put his feet up just yet.
"I'm the sort of person who has to keep active. I'll be looking for another job soon enough."
Neil, 39, said he was at the Fighting Cocks for only a short time before he heard of the opportunity at the Kettledrum, which is just next door on Red Lees Road.
"I saw the advert after only a few weeks. I applied, had two interviews and in two weeks I was offered the job. I'm really pleased, the Kettledrum has a really good reputation and I want to carry that on."
