A SERIES of new traffic orders have been proposed by Blackburn with Darwen Council to keep vehicles off the newly pedestrianised Church Street, Blackburn.
Weight restrictions and prohibition of driving orders for all vehicles except those making deliveries to the shopping centre are being proposed for the Darwen Street end of Church Street.
At the Railway Road end of Church Street, new regulations will come into force allowing people to park in front of some shops for up to 30 minutes.
The new orders will replace temporary traffic orders put in place during the £2.5million regeneration of Church Street.
It will be completed in September when a series of new monuments are put into place.
