THEATRICAL students at Westholme Upper School, Blackburn, have won places in the fiercely competitive National Youth Theatre.
Sally Crawshaw, 17, Caroline Shuttleworth, 18, and Holly Marsden, 14, secured places in the theatre group and are regular performers in the school's productions. Sally is an all-round performer and was trained by local actress Ursula Holden-Gill. She will appear as Pamina in Westholme's production of The Magic Flute.
Caroline is studying Theatre Studies A-Level, and is a versatile actress and singer.
Holly surprised herself when she won a place with the National Youth Theatre because her audition was a first attempt.
