BUS driver Graham Schofield steered his way to success in Rossendale Transport's bus driver of the year competition.
Graham has to sit a theory test based on the highway code and bus driving regulations, an on-road assessment and a manoeuvring skills exercise.
He was awarded the Bob Dignum Memorial Shield, a trophy donated by the partner of a former driver who died some years ago.
Second place went to Andrew Trickett, third was John Culshaw and fourth was Steven Crabtree. All four winners were presented with a glass trophy to keep, cheques and gift vouchers.
They now qualify for the national finals help in Blackpool in September.
