COFFEE fans enjoyed a recent coffee morning and hailed it a great success.
Residents said the event was a good idea as a social occasion.
The morning held at the home of two members of St Mark's Church also proved a success from a financial point of view, raising more than £200 for church funds.
A church spokesman said: "We owe a big thank you to Joyce and Gladys for their efforts and for using their house."

EVERYONE at Rosegrove Infant School enjoyed their Jubilee lunch.
The theme was also the focus of the annual leavers concert held this week at the school on Owen Street.
THE hanging baskets have been provided again along Rosegrove Lane and part of Lowerhouse Lane.
Members of the Rosegrove Action Group would once again like to issue a big thank you to the parks department for their assistance.
A spokesman said: "What a difference it makes to the environment and the pleasure they bring to the people of the community."
ST Mark's Church is appealing for more sidespersons in church and said: "The more we get the fewer times you'll need to do it."
Also volunteers are needed for breakfast duty after Parish Mass. Volunteers can contact the church on 01282 428178.
