INTERNATIONAL ice skaters Alexei Kisilitsyn and Natalia Pestora are planning to hold a second children's day to bring ice skating to Rossendale.
Last year Rossendale Lions supported the skaters, who live in Rawtenstall and perform in Blackpool, and this year the lions will be holding a sportsman's dinner on August 12 at Haslingden Cricket Club to help fund the event.
Guest speaker will be Ian Austin, Lancashire and England cricketer, and comedian Venn Tracy.
Tickets cost £25 per head or £225 for a table of ten. Anyone wanting to book a table can contact Alan Seddon on 01706 218982 or John Ogley on 01706 219058.
The children's fun event last year was held over August Bank Holiday weekend when hundreds of local children got the chance to enjoy free skating on the car park of the Cobblers, in Newhallhey, Rawtenstall.
Last year the two dancers gave several exhibition performances at the event in between their own appearances on stage at the Hot Ice Show in Blackpool.
