A FOOTBRIDGE over Burnham Gate in Burnley may be replaced with a pedestrian crossing.
Trinity councillors are now seeking views of residents about the proposal. Coun Liz Monk said: "I know that over the years residents in Trinity Ward have asked for the footbridge to be removed as in the past it has caused various problems.
"However, the removal may cause difficulty for a few people and it is important that these problems are identified at an early stage.
Residents can phone Coun Monk with their views on 01282 457653.
