EAST Lancashire Tory MP Nigel Evans has said its Ribble Valley constituency is a loser on the National Lottery.
He said that it received just £4.2million since the national flutter was launched from the Good Causes and other funds against a national average of £15.7million per constituency.
This left Ribble Valley 520th out of 659 constituencies.
Mr Evans said it was dreadful that lottery grants should be so imbalanced.
The Tory front bencher said: "The National Lottery's fund giving bodies must do more to ensure that there is a more favourable distribution of funding.
"Figures that have been released today highlight that while London constituencies such as Greenwich and Woolwich have received £676.9million in lottery grants the Ribble Valley has only received £4.2million.
"The weighting in favour of large Metropolitan areas such as London, Manchester and Birmingham is of great concern to me."
