HORWICH'S Paul Muller, who recently became European 10k Veteran Champion at Bruges, won the 10k Northern Veterans race in aid of St Ann's Hospice at the Masons Arms, Radcliffe, in a record time of 32mins 2secs.
Bolton-based Sale Harrier Denise Wakefield won the Ladies Cup in 42.05.
Local runners in the medals: Peter Bates (Bury AC) silver O/45; Adrian Harris (Radcliffe AC) gold O/55; Tom West (Radcliffe AC) bronze O/670; Tess Harrison (Burnden RR) gold O/60.
