A PENSIONER left stranded in America with a huge medical bill after an insurance blunder is returning home on a regular flight, her daughter said today.
Phoebe Morley, 75, of Ewood, Blackburn, needed a specialist flight home after doctors discovered cancer.
But her daughter Susan said today her mother would be returning home on a normal flight after the family re-mortgaged their house to pay the £65,000 medical bill.
Mrs Morley's insurance company refused to pay out after she failed to tell them she already had gall stones.
