POLICE in Leyland have asked for the public's help in tracing a diabetic who went missing from his home without his medication.
Gary Strickland left his home in New Longton, near Preston, at 8pm on Saturday to go on a motorbike ride and has not been seen since.
The 27-year-old was riding his egistered Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja and normally takes a route from New Longton through Croston, Parr Bold Hill and onto the A59 back to New Longton.
He is six-feet tall, and wears glasses. He was wearing a silver grey Balstaff jacket, black leather trousers and a black helmet.
Officers say they are concerned for his safety and urge anyone who may have seen unusual signs of a bike leaving the road to contact them on 01772 433561.
