JOB hunters in the Hag Fold area of Atherton can now search for work at the Neighbourhood Co-ordination Centre based at Ena Mill in Flapper Fold Lane.
There they will find Atherton Careers & Job Search Centre -- a project, funded through the SRB5 Atherton Building Communities project, which offers support, information, advice and guidance to local people looking for a career change or simply a starting point.
The friendly staff can help with career planning and development, provide access to up-to-the-minute job vacancies, information about careers and training, help with application forms and letter writing and a free professionally typed CV.
The centre also has facilities to search for jobs on the internet.
Guidance Worker, Linda Andrews said: "Through our links in the local community, we see many clients through 'word of mouth' and we have already had great success in helping many local people find work and training.
"Now, we are looking forward to linking with the new businesses that will be moving into the newly upgraded Ena Mill premises. Job hunters should call in, find out more and get that job!"
The centre is a drop-in facility assisting 16-65 year-olds and is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am-4.30pm, and Fridays 9.30am-1pm. More information from Linda Andrews or Denise Whittaker on 01942 883124.
